A Ceasefire is not Peace

Palestinians and the wounding of thousands more, after the loss of hundreds of children, the trauma of lost parents and spouses, the immeasurable sorrows of families ripped apart, homes destroyed. But a ceasefire is not peace. Even less so is a ceasefire that consolidates the violence and injustice of a colonial occupation. Such a ceasefire is merely an extension of war.
